Rakuten Pay is a payment method under Rakuten, the No. 1 e-commerce platform in Japan. After registering a Rakuten account, users can easily use credit card payment methods and other payment methods.
Rakuten Pay is most commonly used on Rakuten's own e-commerce website. At the same time, because Rakuten does not require a credit card to log in and only requires recharging, it is also popular because it caters to users without bank accounts.
Credit cards bound to Rakuten members will also be bound to Rakuten Pay. When paying through Rakuten Pay, the money from the bound credit card will be deducted. In addition, it also supports the use of accumulated Rakuten supermarket points and Rakuten electronic currency - Rakuten cash for payment.

Currently, Japan Rakuten Pay supports the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club, JCB (UnionPay cards are not supported).

If conditions permit, I like to use Apple Pay. In theory, NFC is the most secure. And you only need to press twice and touch Face ID. It is also very convenient online. Meituan, Didi and Duoduo all use this.
