Dankort is the preferred payment method in Denmark, and having an agreement that allows you to accept Dankort means you can accept payments from the majority of Danish consumers.

Dankort accounts for the majority of credit card transactions in Denmark, and also has co-branded credit card variants with Visa and Mastercard. With Dankort, consumers can also make contactless payments using a physical Dankort or mobile payments like Apple Pay. Contactless payments are very common in Denmark - 80% of Dankort transactions are contactless.
